How To Play

Everything you need to know to play the Have You Seen Rita contest.

The goal of the Have You Seen Rita contest is to identify the literacy activity of Rita DeBook each day she is hiding in the community. For every day that Rita is hiding there is a daily prize up for grabs (more details at the prizes section) Follow these easy to steps to get started:

1) Download or print the Rita Contest Kit. The Contest kit will give you the full contest schedule and all of the hints needed to solve Rita's mystery locations and activities (each location will have 3 hints).

2) Identify when Rita will be hiding in the community. There will be a prize draw for each day she is hiding so make sure to enter for each day.

3) Identify Rita's activity. This can be done by either

Solving the first 2 hints which will give you Rita's location where you can see her activity in action
Solving the 3rd hint which will identify her activity (but the 3rd hint will be the hardest to solve)

4) Submit your answer for the day. Your answer will have to be submitted by 12am of the given day that Rita is hiding and can be done by:

dropbox (available only at the secret location)
facebook private message (You must be a friend of Rita's on facebook)
phone - 519-266-6755

5) Make sure you include your full name and a contact number with your answer. We will need this to contact you if you're our lucky winner (more details in the prizes section).
